Julia is an associate at ALG with a focus on criminal trials and appeals. Before joining ALG, Julia clerked for Justice Brown at the Supreme Court of Canada and judges of the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal. She also worked as a foreign law clerk for President Miriam Naor at the Supreme Court of Israel.
Julia graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law with the Silver Medal. She received numerous awards, including prizes for appellate advocacy, criminal procedure, and constitutional law. She has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and also studied at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris.
Julia is fluent in English and French. Elle représente résolument les clients dans les deux langues officielles. Julia uses her analytical experience honed at Canada’s top court to solve complex legal problems for her clients. She was called to the bar in 2017.
