• More About Samara

    Samara is a partner at ALG. Her practice includes constitutional, commercial, and criminal litigation. Samara defends individuals and organizations in quasi-criminal regulatory proceedings and at trial. She is regularly engaged to solve urgent, complex disputes and manage crises. Samara also acts for professionals, including lawyers, in discipline proceedings.

     

    Samara clerked for Justice Louis LeBel at the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining ALG she was an associate at one of Toronto’s top commercial litigation boutiques. Samara joined ALG in 2016.

     

    Samara earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she graduated with the Silver Medal. She has a B.A. in History from the University of British Columbia, where she was the valedictorian. Samara is a director of Parkdale Community Legal Services in Toronto.
