ALG's Lynda Morgan appears in the June 2023 issue of For the Defence, the newsletter of the Criminal Lawyers' Association. Lynda's article addresses how defence counsel can raise issues about the execution of a search in a Charter application. Lynda sets out how counsel can address police's failure to keep notes during a search or to file a "return to justice" form after a search.
Lynda is an expert in search & seizure and technology issues in Canadian criminal law. She has spoken at numerous courses and conferences on the subject and acts as a co-chair of the annual Osgoode Tech Crime Conference.
